Add a past transaction

Use Clear & Backdate to enter a transaction that already happened and save it into Past/History.

Add something that already happened

If you need to enter an expense, income, or adjustment that already took place, create it as a single transaction and use Clear & Backdate before saving.

  1. Tap the +/- button from the correct account.
  2. Create a Single Transaction with the title/category and amount.
  3. Under Saving Options, turn on Clear & Backdate.
  4. Choose the past date when the transaction actually happened.
  5. Leave Update Balance? on if the transaction should affect the current balance. Turn it off if you are only adding history and the current balance is already correct.
  6. Save the transaction.
