Foreseenly CashFlow - Getting Started

Bank connections and reconciliation

Foreseenly does not link to banks. Bank Reconciliation Beta reviews exports in DEMO and COPY but is not yet available for LIVE data.

Can I connect my bank account?

No. Foreseenly™ CashFlow does not use live bank linking or automatic bank sync. You enter known plans and decide when actual activity should clear.

Current reconciliation availability

Bank Reconciliation Beta is available in DEMO and COPY. It is not yet available for LIVE data.

Reconciliation reviews one bank export against one account. It suggests matches, additions, ignored rows, and conflicts, but changes nothing until you approve Apply.

Review and apply an export

  1. Open Past for the account you want to review and start Bank Reconciliation Beta.
  2. Select the bank export and review its mapping.
  3. Review suggested matches, additions, ignored rows, and conflicts.
  4. Choose what to include, then approve Apply. Foreseenly creates a safety backup and applies approved transactions from oldest to newest.
  5. If processing pauses, review the affected transaction and follow the suggested recovery action.
  6. Completed transactions are locked and will not be applied again.
  7. Review reconciliation history and the resulting account balance.

Optional Foreseenly CSV

You can use bank exports in supported formats or prepare the optional Foreseenly CSV template available from the reconciliation start and mapping screens.

  • Required headers: Date, Description, and Amount.
  • Optional headers: Reference, Balance, Type, and Memo.
  • Positive amounts are deposits or inflows.
  • Negative amounts are payments or outflows.
  • Replace or remove the sample rows before selecting the file.
Keep financial files private: Reconciliation is a review workflow, not live bank linking or automatic bank sync. Do not email bank exports or sensitive financial files to support.
