App Freezing or Crashing

Quick steps and crash-report help

Try this first

If Foreseenly freezes, closes unexpectedly, or will not open, start with the simplest recovery steps.

  1. Open the App Store and make sure Foreseenly CashFlow is updated.
  2. Close and reopen Foreseenly. Open the App Switcher, find Foreseenly, then swipe up on its preview to close it.
  3. Restart your iPhone or iPad, then open Foreseenly again.
  4. If no Foreseenly update is available, install the latest iOS or iPadOS update.
Before deleting or reinstalling Foreseenly, make sure you have a current backup or contact support. Deleting the app can remove local data stored on the device.

If it keeps happening

Send QApps a ticket so the issue can be tied to your device and app version. Include:

  • Your device model and iOS or iPadOS version.
  • Your Foreseenly CashFlow version, if you can open the app long enough to check it.
  • What screen you were on and what you tapped before the freeze or crash.
  • Whether it happens every time or only sometimes.

Send a crash report manually

If Foreseenly closes unexpectedly, a crash report may be available on your device.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data.
  3. Search for Foreseenly or CashFlow.
  4. Open the most relevant recent report, tap Share, and send it to [email protected].

Optional: share analytics with developers

You can also turn on Share iPhone & Watch Analytics and Share With App Developers if that option is available. Apple may then make crash and diagnostic information available to developers through Apple tools.

This is opt-in, may not appear immediately, and can share diagnostics for apps generally. If you prefer to share only one Foreseenly crash report, use the manual method above.
