App Freezing or Crashing

Overview

If you are experiencing freezing and you are on the latest app version (check in the App Store), you can try to resolve the issue by completely closing and reopening the app. On an iPhone or iPad you do this like this:

On a device without a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle to open the App Switcher, then swipe up on the app's preview to close it. On a device with a Home button, double-click the Home button to open the App Switcher and then swipe up on the app preview to close it.

Crash Reporting

We monitor crash reports and respond to them promptly. You can Share a Crash Reports from Your Device utilizing either of these two methods.

Manual Method:

1. Open Settings on Your iPhone: Navigate to the main screen of your iPhone and tap on the "Settings" icon to open the settings menu.
   
2. Access Analytics & Improvements: Scroll down and select "Privacy" > "Analytics & Improvements."
   
3. Go to Analytics Data: Within the "Analytics & Improvements" section, find and tap on "Analytics Data."
   
4. Find the Crash Report: Swipe down to access the search box at the top of the screen and type "cashflow" to locate the crash report related to the Foreseenly CashFlow app.
   
5. Share the Crash Report: Tap on the relevant crash report to view its details. Then, tap the share button located at the top right corner of the screen. Choose your email app and send the report to [email protected].
   

Automated Method:

1. Enable Sharing iPhone & Watch Analytics: In the "Analytics & Improvements" section of your iPhone settings, turn on the "Share iPhone & Watch Analytics" option. This allows your device to automatically send diagnostics and usage information to app developers.
   
2. Reproduce the Crash: After enabling the option, use the Foreseenly CashFlow app until it crashes again. This method will share analytics from all apps, not just Foreseenly CashFlow.
   
3. Wait Before Disabling: Leave the "Share iPhone & Watch Analytics" option enabled for approximately 5 minutes after experiencing the crash. This ensures the crash report is properly sent.
   

Consideration: While this method is more straightforward, it shares analytics for all your apps. If privacy is a concern, you may prefer the manual method described above.
