How to add new name to Income or Expense Plans

Overview

Foreseenly CashFlow organizes finances into straightforward categories by pre-set system Types: Income, Expense, Asset, or Loan. When setting up a Plan, you can choose from a predefined Category Names like "Salary", "Rent," "Mortgage," "Education," or "Insurance" - or create your own category name.

Creating Custom Categories

• Tap "New" (bottom right on the Plan's Category form) to add a unique category with a name and an optional emoji.

Adding more Detail with a Subtitles

• Use the Category Subtitle feature to add context to specific Transactions or Plans. You can set this up in the Optionals section of the plan form.

Managing Categories in Settings

• All categories are conveniently managed under Settings (gear icon). Here, you can add, rename or remove categories anytime.

Finally, please note categories are not available for single transactions - you classify those simply by the subtitle.
